Payed tutor since 2006. Tutored reading for grades K-6 as part of a teaching grant in undergrad as well as a paid tutor in math grades 6-8 and Algebra I at all schools where I have taught. I'm certified in math and science for grades 4-9 in the state of Florida and commonwealth of Virginia. I have 9 years of teaching experience in both math and science in every grade of middle school including Algebra I. I have one of the highest growth rates in my county for math especially among students with learning disabilities. I won the recognition of excellence on my teacher preparation PRAXIS test, and my ACT scores qualify me for the Best and Brightest teacher grant in Florida.
